Today, we’re excited to announce that Chitra Nayak has joined UrbanFootprint’s board as a new independent director. Chitra will leverage her deep industry expertise and advise UrbanFootprint on its go-to-market strategy to bring new, data-driven tools across urban transformation, climate change, and community resilience to governments and enterprises everywhere.

Chitra brings a diverse background to UrbanFootprint, with decades of experience shaping go-to-market strategies and driving transformational change at start-ups and public companies in high-growth markets. Chitra also serves on the boards of other leading innovation companies in the services delivery, software, life-sciences, tech-enabled HR services, and freight and logistics industries, including Infosys (INFY), Intercom, Invitae (NVTA), LifeWorks (TSE: LWRK), and Forward Air (FWRD).

With experience across Enterprise and Small-and-Medium-Business (SMB) software, Chitra will provide strategic insights into how to market and sell into targeted industries, and advise on how to best drive the success of our customers at scale.

Throughout her career, Chitra has held executive positions at various industry-leading companies, including Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Platform at Salesforce; Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Charles Schwab; and Principal at the Boston Consulting Group. She also served as COO at Funding Circle prior to its IPO in 2018, and at Comfy before it was acquired by Siemens in 2018.

We are thrilled to have Chitra join the UrbanFootprint team to help us empower governments and enterprises taking on the urban, climate, and social equity challenges of the 21st century.
